Rema’s debut album Rave & Roses has been certified diamond in France. This certification from the Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique (SNEP) marks exceptional sales success.

Rave & Roses joins an elite group, following Burna Boy’s African Giant as the only other Nigerian album to reach diamond status in France.

The album’s lead single “Calm Down” Selena Gomez previously earned diamond certification in France. “Calm Down” also holds the record for the longest-charting and highest-peaking Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 3 and staying on the chart for over a year.

It is the first and only Afrobeats song to cross 1 billion streams on Spotify. The music video has over 800 million views on YouTube which is a Nigerian record.
