PinkPantheress has surprised fans with the release of the music video for her new single, “Tonight”. This marks her first solo release of the year and the lead single from her upcoming project, anticipated to be a mixtape launching on May 9th.

The “Tonight” video, directed by Charlotte Rutherford, opens with a Bridgerton-inspired aesthetic, portraying PinkPantheress and her companions arriving at a grand mansion via bicycles and horse-drawn carriages, disrupting a formal, regency-era ballroom. As the video progresses, the traditional setting undergoes a transformation into an energetic and uninhibited party.

The song itself, produced by PinkPantheress alongside aksel arvid and Count Baldor, begins with orchestral strings before transitioning into a dance-focused track, staying true to her signature vocal style over a club-oriented beat. Interestingly, “Tonight” samples the Panic! At The Disco song “Do You Know What I’m Seeing?” from their 2008 album Pretty. Odd. PinkPantheress playfully acknowledged the track’s length, which is nearly three minutes, a departure from her typically shorter songs.
