West African Afropop stars Mr Eazi and King Promise have expanded their cross-cultural creative partnership with the visuals for their new single, “That Way.” The stirring track, which interpolates the Backstreet Boys classic “I Want It That Way”, arrives as the runway for their forthcoming joint debut album, See What We’ve Done.

Coming five months after their joint single “See What We’ve Done,” the Nigerian-Ghanaian duo expands their musical bromance with an unmistakable yearning and devotion that sees King Promise’s silky-smooth melodies gliding effortlessly alongside Mr Eazi’s laid-back vocal delivery, creating a warm, nostalgic Afropop fusion.

Shot in London and directed by Charlie Rees, the That Way” visuals also pay homage to the original Backstreet Boys video, reinforcing the iconic pop boy band’s strong influence on the track.

Mr Eazi and King Promise have steadily built a strong collaborative chemistry over the years, with previous joint tracks including “Dabebi,” “Call Waiting,” “Baby I’m Jealous,” and “Oh Yeah,” all of which testify to the synergy leading into their forthcoming joint project due in March.
