Afropop star Adekunle Gold, in the newly released all-family-affair visual for his hit single “My Love Is The Same,” subtly announces that he and his wife, Simi, are expecting another child.
“My Love Is The Same” is the sixth track off Fuji, Adekunle Gold’s sixth studio album, released in October. The song is a reaffirmation of love and dedication to his first child, Adejare, whom he welcomed five years ago with Simi.
In the visuals, Adekunle Gold and his daughter share tender father-daughter moments for much of the runtime, before Simi’s growing baby bump is revealed in a cosy, fun-filled family setting. The scenes explore themes of family, sacrifice, love, and parenthood, reinforcing the sentiments that made the track an instant favourite.
