Doechii has dropped the long-awaited video for her viral track “Anxiety”. Originally recorded in her bedroom back in 2019, the song, featuring a sample of Gotye and Kimbra’s “Somebody That I Used to Know”, blew up on TikTok, racking up billions of views and turning an early Doechii demo into a cultural moment.

Now officially re-recorded and released, the visual leans into surrealism, channeling the original Gotye-Kimbra video with body paint, fragmented backdrops, and a trapped-in-the-mind vibe. Doechii wanders a warped, time-looped house, mirroring the song’s messy, visceral take on mental health spirals.

It’s a sharp reminder of Doechii’s range: she’s vulnerable, self-aware, and still fully in her alt-pop-rap bag. Coming off a Grammy win for Alligator Bites Never Heal, the “Anxiety” video feels like a full-circle flex, reclaiming her past, with the clarity of an artist who knows exactly where she’s going.
