After the success of his viral 2024 single “Joy Is Coming”, Afrobeats artist Fido has dropped the official music video.
Directed by Filmboi, who’s worked with Rema and other big names, the video brings the song’s uplifting message to life. Shot in Lagos, the video shows people dancing, laughing, and enjoying the moment. It captures the feeling that no matter what you’re going through, joy is on the way.
Speaking on the release of the music video, Fido said:
“This music video is inspired by my love for the song and the message the song is passing. “Joy is Coming” is about believing in the miracles that come with happiness and how it is manifesting in your lives no matter what you’re going through.“
The video also introduces fans to a new side of Fido: more confident, bold, and ready for what’s next.
