Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold has scored a placement on the soundtrack for the highly anticipated NBA 2K24 game which is in partnership with global record label Def Jam.

Adekunle Gold’s record, “Okay”, was included on the 2K Beats soundtrack alongside tracks from J. Cole, Clipse, Benny The Butcher, and other iconic hip-hop giants like DMX, Ludacris, and Method Man. 

Gold’s contribution is not merely a token gesture. He joins fellow Afrobeats star Burna Boy who was also featured on the main soundtrack alongside stars like Lil Wayne, Central Cee, Ice Spice, and Steve Lacy. 

Adekunle Gold’s 2024 has gotten off to a busy start as he was featured on the soundtrack for the new Hollywood blockbuster The Book of Clarence alongside Doja Cat, Kodak Black, and Jeymes Samuel which was released on January 12, 2024.
