Burna Boy, Patoranking and Tems have been nominated at the International Reggae and World Music Awards

Nigerian artists, Burna Boy, Patoranking and Tems, have received nominations at the 40th edition of the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) set to kick off in Kingston, Jamaica on May 7th, 2023.


Burna Boy snagged two nominations in both the Best Crossover Single category for his song, “Toni Ann Singh,” with Popcaan, and the Best Afrobeats Entertainer category where Tems, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Eddy Kenzo from Uganda, and Willy Paul from Kenya were also nominated.

Patoranking was nominated for Best African Dancehall Act.

 

Established in 1982 and one of the oldest award shows in Africa, the International Reggae and World Music Awards aims to always promote culture, heritage, music, food, and the arts.
