Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy is taking Afrobeats into the NFL’s first regular-season game in France next month. On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Afrobeats star will headline the halftime show next month as the NFL comes to France for the first time.

The African Giant will headline the halftime show at Stade de France when the New Orleans Saints face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The singer is scheduled to return to the same national stadium where he made history as the first African artist to headline a solo show on April 18, 2025, before an audience of over 80,000.

“Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything. The NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened here before, and I get to stand in the middle of it representing African music, and I intend to give the people a show they will not forget,” the Afrobeats star comments in a statement.

With the latest announcement, France holds a pivotal position for Burna Boy, as the singer’s third most popular market for streams, behind the United States and the United Kingdom. This marks yet another milestone for the global pop star this year, including his global anthem with Shakira, “Dai Dai,” at the FIFA World Cup 2026, which topped Billboard’s Global Charts and recently passed one billion views on YouTube.

According to NFL’s senior director of global game presentation, music and entertainment Tim Tubito, there was no better artist suited to match the first NFL game in France at halftime than Burna Boy.

“Paris is one of the great cultural capitals of the world, and African music sits right at the heart of what the city listens to. Burna Boy has already made history in this stadium, and bringing him back to perform in front of a global audience gives us the chance to create something genuinely memorable,” he said further.

From the 2026 FIFA World Cup to the Paris NFL Halftime Show, yet again, Burna Boy is at the centre of Afrobeats on the world’s most prominent sports stages.
