Davido Announces his Comeback with the Date of his New Album “Timeless”
OBO is back.
●21st March 2023
After a six-month hiatus spurred by his tragic loss and a promised return in March, Davido tickles everyone with a new post on his Instagram page, announcing the release of his upcoming album, titled Timeless, set to drop on March 31st. This corroborates with the scoop given by Israel DMW, the singer’s logistics manager, who took to his Instagram page a few days ago to inform the public that the singer will make a grand return on the 31st of March.
Davido’s last body of work, “A Better Time”, came during the pandemic year, a follow-up of sorts to 2019’s “A Good Time”. Since the release of his last album, his personal releases have been a little few and far between, with the pop polymath opting for a feature run instead which provided standout verses and turned certain sleepers to continental hits. Since he took a break from music and social media at the tail-end of last year due to the tragic passing of his son, a lot of people have been yearning for a comeback from the grieving megastar so his recent announcement comes with a lot of excitement and high expectations.
