New Music Friday is here, and this week brings a stacked lineup of releases across Afrobeats, R&B, rap, and beyond. Mavin star Magixx fully steps into his own with his debut album I Dream In Color, a genre-fluid collection, after months of teasing.

UK-based Afro-fusion collective NSG also arrive with their new album The Big 6, bringing their baseline bouncy, dancefloor-ready sound. Meanwhile, Kel-P and Wande Coal link up for the collaborative EP Best of Both Worlds, with Ejo serving as an early standout.

Over in singles, Blaqbonez taps Young Jonn and Phyno for the infectious W For Wetego, while American R&B veteran Craig David and Queen of Afrobeats Tiwa Savage team up on “Commitment”, an R&B-Afrobeats crossover.

Elsewhere, Cruel Santino makes an interesting return with “Gate of Heaven”, Guchi surprises with “Pressure”, and Cynthia Erivo demonstrates her powerhouse vocals on “Replay”.
