As the year begins to unfold, the Nigerian music industry is already brimming hot with fiery singles and power-packed collaborations. Serial hitmakers Seyi Vibez and Omah Lay have released their highly anticipated single “MY HEALER,” as they begin the year on a high note.

Following Seyi Vibez’s Fuji Moto album and Omah Lady’s brief releases in 2025, the duo team up on the Afrobeats track to deliver one of the most-anticipated collaborations of the year. The track is a percussion-driven record marked by choral undertones and the duo’s captivating chemistry. Also tailing his successful run in 2025, ‘Arike’ crooner Kunmie returns with a new single “Solace.” The slow tempo acoustic track sees the fast-rising artist draw themes of vulnerability with emotive melodic verses.

Meanwhile Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid and Asake have finally released their highly anticipated EP Real. Vol 1. Following their lead single “Jogodo,” the duo find themselves on the 4-tracked EP, delivering potential hits like “Turbulence,”and “Alaye.” With the lead single achieving the highest opening streams on Spotify, the release of the full project is expected to cause a frenzy.

Rising artist Kunmie fires down with a remix of his viral single “Akonuche.” This time he enlists ‘Stubborn’ crooner Victony and Shoday for a star-studded collaboration. After their successful hit record, “Running to You”, Singer-songwriter Simi reunites with colleague Chike for another collaboration “Where You Dey.” Other new releases include Ladipoe and Maglera Doe Boy, LOVN and Boy Spyce.
