Nearly eight years after J. Cole introduced The Fall-Off’s intro with KOD’s “1985” closer in 2018, the Dreamville rapper has finally released his long-awaited album, The Fall-Off, on Friday, February 6th, 2025.

The project is a double album (Disc 29 and Disc 39) with 11 tracks and a bonus track on each disc, for a total of 24. This marks the North Carolina icon’s last album in his career. It also features star-studded collaborations, including Burna Boy and Tems.

Following his recent collaboration with long-term producer Lekaa Beats, Omah Lay finally releases his first solo single, “Don’t Love Me” for the year 2026. Street-hop sensation Shoday releases his highly anticipated debut album, Hybrid. The 9-track project, featuring Bahdboi OML, has already achieved massive success, garnering 54 million streams on Spotify on its first day.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian act King Promise teams up again with Nigerian artist Mr Eazi on another cross-country collaboration, “That Way.” Other new releases include songs from DJ Tunez, LAX, and Muyeez.
