Nopain, Seyi Vibez – Money Dey

Street-hop is in a good place right now and there is an influx of artists who want to venture into the mainstream. Nopain is one of them, and today he released his project titled IF I TRY I CAN FLY. He taps up Seyi Vibez for the standout “Money Dey” and together they display good synergy to create a catchy record. It’s a decent attempt and worthy of some exposure.

Aya Nakamura – Baby

Gearing up to release her new album, DNK, later this month, Aya Nakamura releases “Baby”. The French singer croons about her affection and involvement with a significant other in the most pop star way possible. Aya’s delivery on “Baby” is sure to get your head bopping and feet tapping. She sings in French but it’s a bop, so there are no barriers to enjoying this.

Mizzle – Marry Her

The ability of Nigerians to let other cultures influence them is unmatched. Thankfully, we’re also good at producing quality music. So it is nice to see that Mizzle can pull off an Amapiano track with such technique. It’s a slow burner that quickly heats up, and when the chorus kicks in, you are already dancing. He put it together nicely, and it is certainly one for your music library.

Anonymous Music, Mohbad – Feel Better

The bounce of this song is a bit different. Mohbad starts off with “I’m not feeling the way I’m supposed to feel/But I’m okay”. His penchant for creating off-handed lyrics is his strength on this record, and it’s an interesting one. Between Niphkeys’ production and MohBad’s execution, “Feel Better ” might have something for you.

Lyta – Stronger

Lyta opens his year with “Stronger”. This one is motivational, as he speaks about his rise and ability to come back from difficult situations. Throughout the song he details bits of his consciousness and it feels almost like a diary. It’s a good one and you should check it out.
