Morocco suffered the worst earthquake it had seen in more than a century in September, which tragically claimed around 3,000 lives.

The Three Lions and Arsenal star, who is well-known for his charity endeavors, responded by offering his assistance to the victims of this natural calamity.

Bukayo Saka’s most recent project, which involved giving refuge to people impacted by a terrible earthquake in Morocco, demonstrates his commitment to having a positive impact outside of the sports industry. 

Versus claims that Saka collaborated with BigShoe, a nonprofit organization that helps kids from low-income families. 

Bukayo Saka has donated 50 container apartments for those affected by the earthquake in Morocco.

He’s housed 255 people of which 89 of them were children in collaboration with charity Big Shoe.

In collaboration, they provided 50 container apartments to help families in the heavily affected earthquake-affected communities of Al Haouz and Taroudannt.

These shipping containers were put together to form a village, providing individuals who were displaced with a new place to live. Every apartment comes furnished with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a sink, a toilet, and a shower, as well as a sleeping area. 

In addition, power outlets and seismic-resistant grills are installed to prevent potential earthquake damage. The goal of this project is to give refuge to 255 people, with an emphasis on the welfare of the 89 children who live there.

Saka, who is Nigerian by descent, partnered with BigShoe once more in November 2022. 

This time, their goal was to provide financial support for 120 Nigerian youngsters undergoing treatment for life-threatening illnesses, including brain tumors.

Saka expressed his optimism for the project, saying that he hoped these efforts will help the beneficiaries—especially the children—regain some kind of normalcy in their lives.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Bukayo Saka demonstrates a strong devotion to humanitarian problems through his acts. His attempts to help those in need with housing and medical support are a perfect example of his commitment to really improving their quality of life.
