As anticipation builds for his sophomore album, Afrobeats sensation FOLA has unveiled the official video for his new single, “it’s over,” featuring Dangbana Republik boss Bella Shmurda and rapper Zlatan.
The song is expected to appear on FOLA’s sophomore album, 9, due October 9.
Set in what appears to be a parking lot filled with an assortment of luxury cars, the video opens with media personality Tunde Perry delivering one of his trademark vocal intros before FOLA takes over. Calm and introspective, he appears to reminisce and manifest as he lays down his opening lines before Bella Shmurda joins him with his own soulful contribution. Zlatan closes with a more energetic turn, adding his familiar edge to the collaboration.
The Kambipictures-directed visual keeps the focus on the artists, with subtle glimpses of socialite Yhemolee woven into the video.
