Temi Nkem is the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 11, going home with the record ₦160 million worth of prizes, including ₦90 million in cash.
Temi Nkem was crowned winner on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the finale show, fending off stiff competition from 23 other housemates. She becomes the fifth female winner of Africa’s biggest reality TV show in its 11-season run.
70 days of being completely, unmistakably Temi Nkem.
The laughter. The fire. The chaos. The mouth. The moments you simply could not look away from. She came into the Show Ya Sef house impossible to ignore. She leaves impossible to forget.
Viewers rewarded Temi Nkem for her dramatic, often exaggerated expressions and antics, such as theatrically trying to catch her breath with her bare hand or kill mosquitoes in the diary room of the Show Ya Sef house. In her final diary session on Sunday, she admitted to Big Brother that she came into the house with a game plan and sometimes, she was fake and other times, she was for real.
The woman who was born, bred and based in the United Kingdom (UK), and who had never set foot in Nigeria until BBNaija came calling, arrived in her fatherland and conquered, but not without a strong challenge from second-placed Aikou. The Abuja-born housemate narrowly missed out on the crown, scoring 24.68 per cent of the vote compared to Temi Nkem’s 25.87 per cent, which proved just enough for the ultimate prize.
Pens down. The final exam is over. 🎓
70 days of big words, quiet observation and lectures the Show Ya Sef house definitely did not register for took Aikou all the way to the final two.
Sheba, who made up the top three, placed a distant third with 9.80 per cent, narrowly beating out Bluethopia, who scored 8.50 per cent, to join the ultimate winner on the finale stage.
MUVA came to mother, swerve and compete. 😮💨
Sheba took the lover girl, the fire and a swerve game nobody was prepared for all the way to Day 70.
Ten housemates had initially qualified for the finale after Barry’s veto decision, but Keivo’s disqualification on Tuesday, September 29, for assaulting Tram, trimmed that number down to nine finalists heading into Sunday’s show.
Barry was the first housemate to leave on the night, finishing 9th among the nine remaining finalists. Oyin and Ricky soon followed, placing 8th and 7th respectively. Flora was evicted next, finishing 6th among the finalists.
That left the top five housemates: Temi Nkem, Aikou, Sheba, Bluethopia and Tram. Tram was the next to face eviction, finishing 5th and leaving four housemates standing. Bluethopia was the next to leave the Show Ya Sef house, as viewers, ex-housemates and housemates alike edged closer to learning the ultimate winner.
With the top three now clear, Big Brother asked Temi Nkem, Aikou and Sheba to leave the house together — a departure from the top two finalists viewers have grown used to seeing at this stage. The customary, often emotional ritual of turning off the lights followed, signalling the end of the season.
The top three walked onto the stage to cheers and hugs from families, friends and fans. After chatting with the trio about how they were feeling, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, as he does every season finale, built up the tension in the room before calling out Temi Nkem’s name as the winner, bringing Season 11 to a close after ten weeks of non-stop entertainment.
