Award-winning filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has released the official trailer for his latest project, Recall. The teaser hints at a supernatural and psychological exploration in the search for answers. Set in the bustling city of Lagos, the film follows Goke and Anita as their seemingly perfect love story unravels into an unexpected and mysterious journey.

The cast includes Sharon Ooja, Olarotimi Fakunle, Bolaji Ogunmola, Tina Mba, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Keppy Ekpenyong, Bimbo Akintola, Patience Ozokwor, and Mama Rainbow.

The principal photography for the supernatural thriller was held in November 2023, shortly after the production of Anikulapo.

Almost a year after, Recall is set to make its world premiere at the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF). November 7, 2024, has been announced by the festival organizers as the date slated for Afolayan’s  screening.

However, it is still unknown if Recall by Kunle Afolayan would be in competition or out of competition at the festival.

AFRIFF 2024 will be held between November 3 – November 9. More details are expected to be released in the coming days.
