It’s officially a “BeyDecember” with two major events coming up. First, The Lion King: Mufasa hits theaters 20th December, and on Christmas Day, Netflix brings us a groundbreaking NFL Halftime Show featuring Beyoncé during the Ravens vs. Texans game.

The performance, marking the first-ever live showcase of songs from her country-inspired album Cowboy Carter, is part of Netflix’s inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday. As the Texans face the Ravens at NRG Stadium, Beyoncé will make halftime a memorable concert experience. By securing Beyoncé for their first Christmas Halftime Show, Netflix, the NFL, and Roc Nation are creating what could rival the Super Bowl in viewership—a bold new holiday tradition.

The show, co-produced by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, has fans buzzing with anticipation. Netflix posted a clip of her catching a football on a flower-covered car. This has sparked speculation about special guests. The Cowboy Carter album features big names like Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, and Willie Nelson. Will any of them join her onstage?

Moreover, Cowboy Carter recently garnered 11 nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards. The album is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Country Album. “Texas Hold ‘Em” is up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Country Song. Beyoncé’s nominations span an impressive range of categories, including Pop, Best Country Album, “Ya Ya” for Best Americana Performance, and “Spaghetti” for Melodic Rap Performance, showcasing her versatility and impact across genres. This recognition adds even more anticipation to her upcoming performance.

Beyoncé is no stranger to halftime history, having headlined the Super Bowl XLVII show in 2013 and made waves alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016. But this Christmas performance promises to be one for the books.
