Nigerian superstar Tems lit up “The Tonight Show” Starring Jimmy Fallon with a good performance. In an engaging showcase for her upcoming debut album Born In The Wild, Tems premiered two distinct tracks.

The Grammy winner opened with a powerful rendition of the album’s title track, “Born In The Wild.” This ballad, accompanied by gentle instrumentation, portrayed Tems’ rich vocals. Following this, she transitioned into a smooth performance of her latest cut, “Love Me Jeje.” This song, featuring a sample from the classic Seyi Sodimu & Shaffy Bello track of the same name, had the audience swaying.

This marked Tems’ second appearance on the show, following her 2021 performance of the global smash “Essence” alongside Wizkid. The enthusiastic Fallon audience response is a positive sign for Born In The Wild, set for release on June 7th, 2024.

Tems is also gearing up for her world tour kicking off next month.
