Nigerian singer-songwriter, Tems, made a stunning move on Friday, the 14th of November 2025, with the surprise EP titled Love is a Kingdom. This seven-track project follows her previous release and debut album, Born In The Wild.

With no prior announcement or promotion, Tems sent social media into a frenzy, causing fans to burst with excitement.

Love Is a Kingdom carries Tems’ imprints across both the production and songwriting, with longtime collaborator Guiltybeatz by her side.

Before this new project, fans caught a glimpse of Tems on songs like “Raindance” from Dave’s latest album, The Boy Who Played the Harp, and the remix of Ciza’s “Isaka II” featuring Omah Lay. Her most notable feature from 2025 came on Justin Bieber’s SWAG II, where she appears on “I Think You’re Special.” Shortly before her solo release, she also guested on “You Get Me” off Show Dem Camp’s Afrika Magik album.

Despite a relatively quiet year for the global sensation, her voice remains refreshing on the 20-minute EP.

The two-time Grammy winner leans fully into her “lover girl” era, letting her vocals shine throughout.
