Grammy-nominated artist Quavo has unveiled his latest single, “Trappa Rappa”. The track marks a return to Quavo’s trap roots, featuring his signature Migos flow.
The accompanying music video, directed by Hidji, employs a split-screen format to juxtapose Quavo’s dual life as a recording artist and his street origins. It contrasts Quavo’s present-day success and lavish lifestyle with the grittier realities of his past and the ongoing struggles of those around him.
“Trappa Rappa” follows a series of genre-spanning collaborations for Quavo, including ventures into country music with “Georgia Ways” alongside Teddy Swims and Luke Bryan, and pop with Lana Del Rey on “Tough”.
