Saweetie is back and applying “Hella Pressure” with the release of her new single and music video, “Boffum.” The track is a part of her latest EP, and marks the rapper’s return to solo music.
In a series of split-screen scenes, Saweetie transitions from a high-end buffet to munching on Hot Cheetos with chopsticks, a nod to her nail art. The video is a celebration of having it all, as she raps about wanting “both” the head and the box, the bracelet and the watch. The visual culminates with a fun, Bay Area-themed twist, as Saweetie skips a chauffeured limo for a ride in a Waymo autonomous vehicle, a playful homage to her roots.
